Turn photos into a PDF

Convert your JPG images to PDF documents online for free with smallpdf.tools

Add the photos from your phone or computer above. Each photo becomes one page, in the order you choose, and you download one PDF.

Taking photos that make a clear PDF

  • Put the paper on a dark, plain surface so the edges stand out.
  • Use daylight from a window. The flash causes glare on glossy paper.
  • Hold the phone directly above the page, not at an angle.
  • Fill the frame with the page, then crop away anything left around it.

Common uses

Receipts for an expense claim, handwritten notes for a class, signed forms you can't scan, a set of photos of a damaged item for an insurance claim, and pages of a document you need to email quickly.

If your photos are HEIC

iPhones may save photos as HEIC. In Settings, Camera, Formats, choosing Most Compatible makes the camera save JPG, which works here.

Keeping the size down

Modern phone photos are 3MB to 5MB each, so a PDF of ten photos can be 40MB. Run the finished file through Compress PDF before emailing it.

Questions

Can I change the order of the photos?

Yes. Arrange them before you convert and the PDF follows that order.

Does it work on my phone?
