SmallPDF.tools is a free website with 26 tools for everyday PDF jobs: merging, compressing, splitting, rotating, converting to and from Word, PowerPoint, Excel and images, and adding or removing passwords.
We built it for people who need to fix one file quickly and don't want to install software, create an account or start a free trial. Students use it to shrink assignments for upload portals, job seekers to turn a CV into a PDF, and office workers to merge scans before sending them on.
How the tools work
When you use a tool, your file is uploaded to our server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, processed, and sent back to you as a download. We delete uploaded files and the files we create from them automatically one hour after processing. We don't read, share or keep your documents. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.
What it costs
Every tool is free to use. The site is paid for by advertising, which lets us keep the tools free without sign-ups or paywalls.
