These terms apply when you use smallpdf.tools, its tools and the PDF Pocket app (together, "the service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. The service
SmallPDF.tools provides free online tools for working with PDF files. You don't need an account. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload files you don't have the right to use or change
- use the service to remove protection from documents that aren't yours
- upload malware or files designed to harm our systems
- send automated or bulk requests that overload the service
- use the service for anything illegal
3. Your files
You keep all rights to the files you upload and the files we create from them. We use your files only to run the tool you chose, and we delete them automatically one hour after processing. Download your results before then. See our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Advertising
The service is free because it shows adverts, including adverts served by Google. Adverts are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for the products or websites they promote.
5. Our content
The website design, text, logos and code belong to SmallPDF.tools. You may link to any page, but you may not copy or resell the service or its content without our written permission.
6. No warranty
We work hard to make the tools reliable, but the service is provided "as is". We can't promise that every conversion will be perfect or that the service will always be available. Always check the result and keep a copy of your original file.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, SmallPDF.tools is not liable for any loss of data, profit or business that results from using the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Links to other websites
The service links to other websites, including our blog and the websites of advertisers. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date below shows when they last changed. Using the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
